The mobile mapping (LIDAR) data was acquired from a moving vehicle and is a combination of terrestrial laser scanning and panoramic imagery. The data covers all publicly accessible paved roads in Prague and captures the condition of individual street spaces in detail. The combination of point clouds and photographs allows very accurate measurements.
The mobile mapping took place between 2020 and 2021.
Sample of mobile mapping data
Polohová přesnost snímaných bodů je 0,14 m a výšková přesnost činí 0,12 m. Hustota bodového mračna ve vzdálenosti 10 metrů od skeneru je 0,25 bodu na cm2.
The positional accuracy of the sensed points is 0.14 m and the height accuracy is 0.12 m. The point cloud density at a distance of 10 m from the scanner is 0.25 points per cm2.
Due to its properties, the data can be used for a wide range of tasks, such as mapping accessibility features. It also serves as a basis for the creation of 3D models, evaluation of passage profiles, (semi)automatic technical condition inventory of property or vegetation or updating of the Digital Technical Map.
