Prague has a 3D object model of all buildings and bridges in its territory. These data were generated by stereophotogrammetric evaluation of aerial surveying images and their resulting accuracy is at least 0.5 m. The roofs of the individual buildings were modeled in detail, including chimneys, skylights, towers or larger technological equipment. The walls of the buildings were then semi-automatically derived from the roof model and therefore less accurately reflect the actual condition. The model was built gradually from 2001 to 2008 from the city center to its outskirts. The 2020 update was also associated with significant improvements in internal data quality (removal of internal walls, correction of topological errors, etc.).
