Digital technical map
The regional DTM is an important basis for spatial planning, construction management, investment preparation, management of technical and transport infrastructure networks, asset management, security, crisis management and other agendas.
Benefits of the Digital Technical Map:
- a uniform, detailed, accurate and permanently updated representation of the physical state of the territory (a detailed situation map)
- the most detailed data on technical and transport infrastructure (TTI) networks, including data on their owners, managers and operators
- continuously updated data on protection and safety zones of technical and transport infrastructure buildings
- a single national register of owners, managers and operators of TTIs with details of the territory in which they operate
Examples of the use of the Digital Technical Map:
- overview of existing technical infrastructure for the builder
- detailed map base for the technical and transport infrastructure network administrator
- basis for the preparation of spatial analytical documents
- basis for the preparation of spatial planning documentation
- basis for asset passports
The content of the DTM is divided according to the method of updating into two parts: the basic spatial situation (BSS) and the transport and technical infrastructure networks (TTI). The types of structures such as buildings, transport structures, technical infrastructure structures, recreational, cultural and sacral structures or geodesic elements according to their material content are described in more detail in the ontological dictionary of the DTM data model of the region.
