Archival plans of Prague

Scanned old maps and plans tell the story of Prague's development. Some of them are also unique works of art.
Want to see what Prague looked like two hundred years ago? Old plans show both minor changes and entire neighborhoods that have disappeared. In the geoportal applications, you can work with scanned archives that have been transformed into the JTSK coordinate system. The originals are usually already quite damaged by age, so even their electronic versions are not perfectly accurate. Moreover, the old plans are also a work of art in their own right.

The oldest plan available on the geoportal dates back to the 18th century.
