IPR Prague manages a large amount of geographic data on the territory of Prague, over 800 datasets in total. The data you find on the geoportal can be provided in different ways. The approach to data provision varies depending on who owns and manages the data, how large the data are, and how complex the processing of the data into different formats is. We shall therefore specify the method of data distribution for each dataset.

For licensing reasons, some data are only available to the public administration on request.
Electronic delivery
Register in the E-výdej app to obtain the data
In the map window, select the area of interest for which you need data.
Free output is limited to an area limit of 125 ha. The app will alert you if the free output area has been exceeded. If you need a larger area, you can use open data or pay a handling fee.
You can enter a territory in several ways:
- Selection of a territorial unit - municipal district, cadastral area
- Selection of an area of the map sheet scale 1:1000
- Drawing your own area directly in the map window
Click on the shopping cart to add the dataset to your selection. You can edit both the output area and the required datasets at any time.
Geographic data is provided in different formats according to technical possibilities. Vector formats are designed for specialized software that can work with geographic data.
- DGN, DXF - vector formats designed for CAD software
- SHP - vector format designed for GIS software
- VTX - vector format designed for surveyors
- TXT - text list of coordinates
- JPG, PNG - raster formats, can be opened in common image opening programs
Once your order is completed you will receive a confirmation email, after your order is processed you will receive an email with a link to download the data.
If payment is required when you exceed the area limit for the output, you will receive payment instructions by email and after payment you will receive a message with a link to download the data. If you fall under the free data exemption, please send the relevant request to the data delivery email along with your e-výdej order number.

Delivery on request
Data requests/queries are handled by email at vydej@ipr.praha.eu. If you are eligible for free data, please use the official form. Otherwise, just write to us.
Email vydej@ipr.praha.eu with information on what data you need and for which territory. If you are unsure, please contact the delivery contacts.
In your email, please state:
- Your phone number - it will facilitate communication when specifying the order requirements
- Name of the dataset - preferably the name listed on the Prague geoportal
- Required data format - according to the type of data and the purpose of its use
- Required area for output - you can describe it in words, send a map screenshot, or even a file with the boundary of the area of interest
Based on your order, we will send you a quotation for approval for the final ordering.
You will receive a payment document (advance invoice) by email from us. We will process the data after the money is credited to our account.
Payment can only be made by bank transfer.
Once the data is ready, we will email you the data or a link to download it.

If you are requesting data for public administration, you are entitled to a fee exemption.
